New Study and Updated Concept for Clusterization Development to be presented at Cluster Forum

On October 25th the Cluster Forum will take place. Keynote speaker this time will be Dr. Erika Vaiginiene who will present long-awaited study on Lithuanian clusterization, commissioned by Agency of Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA).

Theses of the Cluster study has become an integral part in writing a new Concept of Cluster Cevelopment in Lithuania. It has been prepared in the working group formed by the Minister of Economy. The updated concept will be presented by Chief Specialist of Business and Science Cooperation Division of the Innovation Department of the Ministry of Economy Ona Šakalienė.

Insights on the new Lithuanian Cluster Studio and updated Concept of Cluster Development in Lithuania will be shared by one of the most active members of the working group of the Ministry of Economy – the president of the Lithuanian Cluster Association Laimutis Paškevičius.

The second part of the Cluster Forum will start with a discussion on the further development of the Inoklaster LT instrument, which is particularly relevant to all clusters at the moment. The discussion will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the Lithuanian Business Support Agency.

Other EU funding and clusters’ promotion options will be discussed at the forum too: Lithuanian Innovation Center project manager Dr. Artūras Jakubavičius will offer his knowledge on Frascati 2015 and InoConnect, and the chief specialist of MITA R&D Programs and International Cooperation Division Daiva Keršienė will talk about ways to promote internationalization of companies.
