East and North Finland in industrial transition – Growth from modern cluster collaboration
East and North Finland (ENF) is composed of seven Finnish regions and is currently revising its industrial strategy towards industrial transition, starting from the previously agreed Regional Innovation Strategies (S³s). This revised strategy combines strengths and support instruments between regions to reach critical mass and deliver higher impact.
In the pilot phase the ENF focused on strengthening clusters and ecosystems with new entrepreneurial and innovation development. Cross-regional support combining different regional clusters will be achieved through the specified actions.
This event, organised by the Regional Council of Lapland/East and North Finland, is intended for the launch of the new strategy with clusters and ecosystems supporting instrument.
The themes addressed by the event are: Industrial modernisation, Innovation and creativity, Digitalisation, Resource Efficiency / Eco-innovation / Circular economy, Smart specialisation, Scaling-up SMEs, Cross-sectoral collaboration.
Matchmaking sessions, web streaming and online voting tools are provided.
