Laser & Engineering Technologies cluster LITEK started a dozen years ago, when the laser system manufacturers in collaboration with the scientific institutions began to create unique products. Today LITEK – it is a structure coordinated by Public Entity “Science and Technology Park of Institute of Physics”, consisting of companies and organizations operating in laser and photonics related engineering technologies fields, carrying out joint R&D and Innovations oriented projects. The scope of the cluster’s activities is the development and production of new laser devices and photonics technologies. Using financing means from 2007 – 2013 European Union Structural funds infrastructure of LITEK training and research center was established.
