ZIEZMARIAI GARDENS
The largest land area of “Žiežmarių sodai” is occupied by orchards and berry orchards – 132 ha, of which 24 ha are dwarf apples with vegetative rootstock. After the liquidation of the old garden, the land is prepared for growing cereals, which are sown up to 50 hectares.
In the center of Kaišiadorys district in 1992. in the summer of 2006, the Agricultural Company “Žiežmarių sodai” was established in Žiežmariai eldership.
Apple products are sold in Lithuania, and some are mostly exported to Poland.
The company belongs not only to the Lithuanian Association of Agricultural Companies, but also is a member of the Lithuanian Commercial Gardens Association “Fruit and Berries”.
