The IT in Medicine Cluster is an initiative developed by eight organizations to unite forces in the design, promotion, and deployment of information technology products in the medical field. The main goal of the cluster is to prepare and deliver solutions to the medical software sector for Lithuanian and foreign markets. Creating integrated software for medicine around the world is a new and promising area that includes many different aspects of different healthcare activities. The cluster members are small businesses, so the company is not able to individually conduct research and marketing activities that are needed to create innovative products and gain competitive positions on the international market.
