Let’s bring Baltic partnership to the next level: BALTIC CLUSTER FORUM 2018

Changing global economic environment encourages smaller regions to look for new opportunities in collaboration rather than competition. Across EU, clusters have proven that their nature and model of partnership can bring such benefits as open innovation, new jobs and stable growth. Internationalization and cross-sectoral cooperation are key policy priorities for clusters in EU, however there is much to be done in this area in the Baltic region.

How fast can a successful Baltic metacluster be established? Why does it make sense? What sectors are ready? Where do we start? Let’s start in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Conference with international speakers

Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology invites all interested parties who would like to learn more about clusters and creating international partnerships in the Baltic region to the first conference & matchmaking event the BALTIC CLUSTER FORUM 2018 which will take place on 16th May in Litexpo Exhibition and Congress Centre (Laisves ave. 5, Vilnius, Lithuania).

The event is focused on 3 major points: internationalization, partnership and opportunity. To start, variety of local and foreign experts will provide valuable information and insights on policy, funding possibilities and support programs for clusters. Great deal of attention will be payed to present possible clusters’ partnership development scenarios in the Baltics, establishment of metaclusters, arising threats and opportunities.
